Born in 1863, the small hamlet of Woodbury is located within the town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, on Long Island. The 2010 United States Census reports a population of 8,907 within 5.1 square miles. This small residential area is located within the Syosset Central School District and includes students from Syosset, Oyster Bay Cove, Muttontown, Laurel Hollow, Plainview, Hicksville, and Jericho. The Music Under the Stars concert series happens every summer in the Syosset-Woodbury Community Park.
